Summer sports
Not many regions can offer the variety of sports activities of the Bovec area. Visitors can find active enjoyment everywhere: in the water, on the earth and in the air. The softness of green plateaus, the gloomy shadows of gorges and numerous waterfalls, the playful dance of colours in deep chasms, the stone lacework of the karstic world, the splendid views as far as the Adriatic Sea and Mt. Triglav. It’s a kind of joyful poetry that touches the heart of every visitor spending holidays in the Bovec area. Riverbugging is a fun new way to experience white water rivers. Riverbugs are small, lightweight (7 kg) inflatable boats that are stable, maneuverable and incredibly fun to ride. You sit on a Riverbug and control it with flippers on your feet and paddle- gloves on your hands.

The renovated Bovec golf course has now nine holes named Soča, Trenta, Boka, Juliana, Kluže, Mangrt, Narnija, Sušec and Kanin. The most spectacular is the third hole named by the waterfall Boka. The more than 200 m par three hole has wonderfull views on the course and on the Svinjak mountain.
