The morning is full of expectations. A young boy hops over rocks and stream towards one of the countless waterfalls. A girl is looking forward to visiting a farm with authentic Bovec sheep. A swimming pool at the hotel or near a clear stream, gravel-bed islands in the middle of the river, and bathing areas by the campsites offer irresistible refreshment. Bovec is Slovenia’s famous centre for the most adrenalin-intense water sports, which may be enjoyed safely under the supervision of experienced guides, but the land of Bovec is also much more than just testing your strength against the river.
