Waters
- Limarica
Springing from below the Vršic Pass with several smaller streams which soon join into one stream. It gets its water from the slopes of Mojstrovka and Prisank. It flows along the Strma frata Valley in the direction of the source of the Soca in a steep fall. In its lower part it turns and flows parallel with the Soca, and under the 49th curve of the Vršic road it flows out into the Soca.
- Gorejca
Located above Spodnji Log. From the road from Predel to Bovec, between Spodnji and Zgornji Log, turn right after the cemetery (look for the sign for the Štoln waterfall). A gravel road leads to the tunnel (the former mine tunnel, locally called štoln, is closed). A marked path on the left leads through the woods, across a field, a ski slope and again into the forest to the pool.

- Slatenik
The source is at an altitude of 1200 m and flows along a former glacier valley between the mountain chains of Javoršcek and Polovnik, flowing out to the Soca as the left tributary. The stream has a very large and uneven drop, and in the middle part it formed troughs where the water falls in the form of a waterfall. A large part of the river basin spreads on dark grey-brown flysch from the Cretaceous period.
- Skok s parabolo (Jump with Parabola)
- Kluže Gorge
The Koritnica river has chiselled a 500 m long and 70 m deep ravine in its thousand year long journey towards the south and represents one of the greatest attractions in the Bovec area. Already at the bridge which spans the river an attractive, dazzling view opens into its dark depths.
Access: approximately 4 km along the road from Bovec to Log pod Mangrtom to the Kluže Fortress (Trdnjava Kluže).- Dvojna Latvica (Double Milk Bowl)
- Križ Lakes
Gornje Kriško Lake is the most interesting and at the same time the highest Slovenian lake (2154 m). Wherever it is viewed from, it abounds with beauty: from the gravel at its banks or from the mountain ridges or peaks that surround it. In the alpine world, among the wasteland and grey verticals, its blue colour offers a real comfort for the eyes, like original grace. It is 110 m long and 9.5m deep. Access: the lakes are located quite ...
