The Trenta House
On the lower floor of the house is the stable with the farm building, above it is the apartment, and below the roof hay is kept. It is often located on a piece of inclined ground and the rear side is dug into a hill. It is characterised by its outdoor stairs with a gank. The central living area is the kitchen which is accessible from the gank. On one side of the kitchen is the kamra, as well as on the other side. It became an oblong house, which is by a coastal house with an alpine roof. Some houses had their chimneys outside the building, which was to ensure against fire. The house has a steep roof and often there is a small building (sometimes wooden) intended for cooking in the summer when it is too hot in the house (Pri Matevžu).
