Church of St. Joseph (Sv. Jožef) in Soča
The little church in the village of Soča was built as early as 1718 and was consecrated in 1823. Additional construction was completed in 1893. In 1944 it was entirely reed and repainted by Tone Kralj. He applied oil paints with some amount of pure bee’s wax on old plaster, marble slabs, wood and canvas. Church of Virgin Mary in the Field
The church stands by the Bovec campsite and was erected in the 16th century. With its external features, typical windows and ribbed vault in the presbytery, it belongs to the late Gothic period. The interior was painted in 1520 to 1540 by Jernej from Loka. Church of St. Stephen (Sv. Štefan) in Log

It was built at the end of the 18th century and later rebuilt. The presbytery contains the famous ceiling fresco of The Stoning of St. Stephen, the work of Slovene Impressionist Ivan Grohar. The church also houses a wooden Gothic sculpture of Mary the Queen (orig. Marija kraljica – from 1490 to 1500) and an oil painting of St. Sebastian (orig. Sv. Boštjan), very likely the work of Anton Cebe from the Baroque period.

Church in Trenta
The miner’s church of the Virgin Mary of Loreto (Device Marije Lavretanske) was erected in 1690. It was built by the Counts of Attems, the then owners of the Trenta forges, who awarded it a special benefice. The structure was renovated in the beginning of the 20th century. Church of St.Ulrich (Sv.Urh)
The church of St. Ulrich, with its dominant position on the high plain to which leads a monumental staircase, endows Bovec with a more picturesque appearance. The main façade is in the neo-Roman style, and in the nave of the church the remains of old Gothic architecture may be found, which are visible in the Gothic portals and in the Gothic triumphal arch in the eastern wall of the nave. Church of St. Leonard (Sv. Lenart)
On the left side above the Bovec-Kluže Road, at Ravne, the ruins of the Gothic church of St. Leonart can be seen. It was built in the 15th century and it is oriented with its altar section to the east. Before the restoration, the exterior walls of the church displaying the ribbed parts of the ceiling and the characteristic portal with pointed vault have been preserved.
